Welcome to my little blog, make yourself at home, I am so happy to see you :o)
Welcome to my One world one heart giveaway. I am part of it for the first time. I love the concept, it's a great idea to make new friends and get to know each other better.

Let me introduce myself ... My name is Peggy, I am a full time artist. I had the chance to teach decorative painting and stained glass for years before moving to Connecticut, USA Now I am back to my home country. I live near the beautiful city of Paris, France.
I love everything mixed media. I discovered it while in the US, in 2008 and 2009.
I have a lovely studio where I teach workshops.
I love texture, image transfer, and everything that cracks !
I also enjoy making my paper ladies, you can see them HERE.

Here is my giveaway. I have the pleasure to offer an original mixed media canvas called "N'oublies jamais de rêver" (that means "do never forget to dream" in french).
The canvas is 24 x 32 cm ( 9.5 x 13 inches)
It has texture, paper, acrylics, pastels, oils crackle paste and  transfers of my own sketches and of images etc ...

 



If you want to give it a try ...
You must be a blogger (from anywhere in the world) to enter the draw  but you don't need to participate to OWOH yourself.
Just leave a comment under this blog post and a link to your blog.

I will pick a winner on February 17th 2011. The winner will be sent and email and I will blog about it.
Important : Because I am leaving for Brazil on February 18th, I may not have the winner's postal adress in time to ship the prize before leaving. In that case, i will send it as soon as I return, on March 1st. Thank you to understand :o)

When I first lived in the US (I'm a German native) I wasn't allowed to work either, I volunteered a lot and apart from that enjoyed life! Okay, my daughter was still small at that time, so I actually had enough to do... Then I got a work permit and worked in a scrapbook store, it was heaven.   149. Hi Peggy, I'm blogging from the coast of California. I'm a mixed media and polymer artist. I love all of your ladies, they have so much detail in them. I've recently had an interest in santo dolls. Have you ever made any of these? I was reading about getting back to our sheeps, does that mean go to sleep? If it does, that is funny . My husband and I were just talking about how our son used to ask how many sleeps until something was going to happen, instead of asking how many days.
