Back to almost normal life

My inlaws are finally gone home after 19 days home. Yesssss !
I feel a little guilty to speak like that because they've done a tremendous job here ... but I crave painting !!! (plus I don't have to cook a full 3 courses meal twice a day anymore ! )
I haven't touched a brush in 3 weeks, and I have withdrawal symptoms :o)
It's chaos here, I have to clean the whole house because we've done a lot of work in 3 different rooms, we broke 2 walls, did painting and wall paper, I now have a studio kitchen made from scratch  and so on ...
But I want to paint !!! That's all I can think of, and let me tell you ladies : You don't help me ! :o)
Stop posting beautiful things on your blogs ... you make me want to paint even more !
Ok I take a break this afternoon and grab my sketchbook. Yes ... I know, I'm so weak .... but the cleaning will wait for me I'm sure :o/
I will show you if something good comes out of my sketchbook.

PS : Natasha and Danielle , your print is on the way :o)

  2. M'eh......all that work will be there tomorrow....go paint! LOL

p.s. ....maybe if you leave all that work there long enough it will grow arms and clean itself? That's my theory for my house and I'm sticking to it, hahahaha!

  6. Go paint! You need to. I so understand! My children are off school now for a long time, and I am developing a twitch in my right eye, because I know that I will not be able to be as creative as I need to be (gasp) Looking forward to seeing your new creations!

  7. Oh gosh Peggy, I've just spent the best part of 2 hours reading through your wonderful blog and watching your amazing videos. I stumbled across your blog purely by fluke but am oh so glad I did. Your creations are spellbinding not to mention inspirational. I'm just about to embark on mixed media journalling after purchasing many, many fabulous books and visiting just as many blogs. Plus I've decided to take my Art exams so I need all the help I can as drawing isn't my strong point......:-(

As for cleaning the house....well it will always be there tomorrow and as they say.....tomorrow never comes....lol :-) we are in the middle of re-decorating ours from top to bottom and I've come to the conclusion to give up with house work for the time being, my only problem is I spend way too much time surfing the web rather than creating......I hope you don't mind me blaming that on you......lol!!!!! So while your house is being renovated, you enjoy yourself by creating some more of your stunning paintings.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing such beautiful creations, tutorials and inspiration with us all, I'm so grateful and so very happy to have come across your blog. Take care, I look forward to seeing more of your wonderful new creations xx vicki xx

  8. Something happens to an artist when they are removed from their craft. I know I get cranky and disgruntled when I haven't painted in a while. I keep myself in check with my art journal, but it's still not quite the same.

Can't WAIT to see your next creation!

  9. Ooh I feel for you, but don't worry you have my permission to go paint and leave everything else. Just think how good you'll feel and motivated to tackle everything else!
